Just wanted to say hello and that I'm so glad to be a part of this forum! I've always thought that raising one's consciousness is a lifelong journey that is both a healthy challenge as well as it's own reward.

Hello to you too and great to hear that you are so delighted. I agree that rising one's consciousness is a lifelong journey that is both a healthy challenge as well as it's own reward. It reminds me of a poem by Charlotte Joko Beck, a famous Zen master:

“Life always gives us
exactly the teacher we need
at every moment.
This includes every mosquito,
every misfortune,
every red light,
every traffic jam,
every obnoxious supervisor (or employee),
every illness, every loss,
every moment of joy or depression,
every addiction,
every piece of garbage,
every breath.

Every moment is the guru.”
