That's the Idea of specialness, the very idea of separation, the epitome of ego, and the idea of love giving itself equally and unconditionally to all wont fit well with the egoself.
LOVE is LOVE it doesn't get better it is what it is, even when it grows stronger it still remains what it is, there is no love better then your own because you cannot feel outside of yourself.
Invite this love that you THINK is better into yourself and then you will KNOW it when you FEEL it but it will be your feeling. Knowing is so much more real and powerful then thinking.

I don't believe that the idea of a personal God is one of specialness or the ego. I agree though that it doesn't sit well with the ego which is all the more reason to practice it because the ego is all about specialness. I see love as being maximal in all of us. Realizing it is a matter of removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence.

You can't get closer to god if you don't have faith and belief in him. Again I do not think god has such needs. He's god for god's sake. :lol: We think we have to do something right in order to gain his attention, and again god would have no such need of us. Our thinking is out of whack in thinking god thinks and feels like us. She doesn't.

Why is God concealed?

Personally, I believe that God is revealed to everybody sooner or later, but why the wait?

Why and where would god wait and hide? Where is he not?

Yes that's right, we can learn how to count using our fingers but when we have learnt how to count we no longer need the idea of using our fingers and it's ok to let the idea go because we KNOW how to count. When you KNOW god/life/source as a feeling of nothingness/peace/ love/light there is no room for thoughts or ideas.

There is the reality of the opposites, chaos, fear and darkness. Is god not the source of those also?

If we all have personal gods who loves and knows us better than we do ourselves, where would that leave us? Pretty much where we are now and have been for thousands of years. Arguing over the real god. Doh!

I think we are overanalyzing God. The act of knowing there is God is enough.

In our history aliens have come down to influence our future. There is no reason to think they are not doing more for us than our worship of God.

We have to build a country to protect our families and way of life. As long as we have a system in place that allows us to share our goals then we have something to be proud of. Our goals should be to embrace a knowledge of God, stay committed to our country, and maintain a system that identifies ego.

If we let our egos control what we do, because we do not recognize ego, then we cannot do any of our necessary jobs. We are generally focusing on money or some other ego inflating item.

Our happiness is what we are considering here...I think. If we realize that we have control over happiness once we have control over ego then we are complete.

What makes it so hard is our peers. So, maybe we should narrow our pursuits to setting an example for others and finding a way to communicate the simple tasks.

Just getting through to one person a day is a noble task, in my opinion. We have a soul that will continue, so happiness today is of limited importance. To enjoy a moment with a loved one is plenty to keep us going for a long time.
